- Fundamental Rules of Safe Shotgun Handling
- Nomenclature and Operation
- Basic Handling
- Fundamentals of Marksmanship
- Clearing Malfunctions
- Loading techniques
- Positions
- Shooting while moving
- and much more

- Any centerfire Shotgun ( pump, semi-automatic, over-under, side
by side, single shot, or lever action). If you do not have a shotgun,
one can be provided for a $30.00 fee. - Equipment that you plan on using with your home defense shotgun
- 300 rounds of birdshot
- 50 rounds buckshot
- 10 slugs
- Note: If you are using one of our shotguns, you must purchase
the ammunition from us.
- Shell holders (bandoliers, side saddles, etc)
- Lunch, snacks and water. We will only take shorts breaks, so
bring enough to last the entire day
- Eye and hearing protection
- Do not wear any sandals or open toed or open heeled shoes.
- Not live ammunition is allowed in the classroom. You can leave
your ammunition in the car until the shooting portion of the class.
Note: The shooting portion of this class will be held on an
outdoor. We will be outside rain or shine. So dress for the
weather!
